Behind the Badge Charities had a tremendous year in 2023 and began 2024 with another super successful Boots & Badges Gala. Since 2011, Behind the Badge Charities has been able to award over a million dollars in assistance grants and college scholarships, all aimed at assisting first responder families when they need a hand.
Thanks to the thousands of community supporters, hundreds of local business partners, and dozens of dedicated volunteers who have come together over the years to support our Fort Bend County first responders. Behind the Badge Charities exists and succeeds because of your support and hard work. I am excited for the future of Behind the Badge Charities and for all the good work yet to be done in our community.
Each year, Behind the Badge Charities awards college scholarships valued at $2,000 each to deserving young men and women of first responders. Proceeds raised from the Boots and Badges Gala will be used to provide these scholarships.
